Well, the annual Race for the Chaste is the answer! It is the opportunity for young and old to answer that call and have fun with friends and family doing it! The theme of our 5K Run/Walk is Glorify God in your Body (1Corinthians 6:20) by walking, running, praying or cheering with The Goretti Group to spread the joy of purity and
authentic love. Moms, do it for your kids! Husbands, do it for your wives! Young adults, do it for your friends and future spouse!
The Goretti Group is a movement of people of all ages and states in life seeking to rediscover authentic masculinity and femininity and become witnesses to the joy of pure love. We study all of the Catholic Church’s teachings on purity, particularly Saint John Paul II’s Theology of the Body. The goal is to untwist the lies of the culture and to bring about a new sexual revolution in which the dignity of the human person is cherished and respected at all stages.
Runners, walkers, and donors participate by offering their own personal intentions related to struggles with human sexuality in the areas of pornography addiction, same-sex attraction, sex addiction, gender identity issues, marriage difficulties, as well as common goals to end human trafficking, sexual exploitation and divorce.
